Chorus

Chorus adds movement and width to a signal by mixing in short, slowly modulated delays. Two voices per channel drift in and out of unison for a doubled, shimmering sound.

Insert it inline on any audio source. Wire audio into in and out onward to the rest of the chain. Start with a low Rate and moderate Depth for a gentle widening, and raise Drywet to bring the effect forward.

  • Input 0: in accepts mono or stereo PCM. It is required.
  • Output 0: out emits the same shape as the input.
  • Rate: modulation speed in Hz. Low values drift slowly; higher values give a faster wobble.
  • Depth: how far the delay is modulated. More depth means a wider, more pronounced effect.
  • Drywet: balance between the dry input and the chorused signal.
  • Feedback: feeds some output back in for a more resonant, intense character.
  • Mono input gives a mono chorus; stereo input gives a widened stereo image.
  • For subtle thickening keep Depth and Feedback low. For a strong effect raise both.
