Mix Voice

Mix Voice sums up to four voice signals into one output, with an optional gate signal for each voice. When a voice has a gate wired, the voice only passes while its gate is above the threshold. It suits polyphonic and per-voice setups where each voice should sound only when its gate is open.

Wire each voice into its voice input, and optionally wire a gate signal into the matching gate input. Set per-voice gain to balance them, then wire out onward. A voice with no gate wired plays whenever it has signal.

  • Input 0: voice1 audio. Required.
  • Input 1: gate1 gate signal for voice 1. Optional.
  • Inputs 2 to 7: voice2/gate2, voice3/gate3, voice4/gate4. Optional.
  • Output 0: out emits the mixed result. The output shape follows voice1.

Inputs accept mono or stereo audio.

  • Gain1 to Gain4: per-voice level.
  • Gatethreshold: level a gate must cross for its voice to pass.
  • Mixmode: sum adds the voices; average keeps loudness steadier as more voices play.
  • Normalize: how the summed signal is contained: none, softclip to clamp peaks, or average.
  • Pair each voice with its gate to mute it cleanly when the gate is silent.
  • Use softclip when summing hot voices that would otherwise overshoot.
