Stem Split

Stem Split takes a finished stereo mix and separates it into four stems: vocals, drums, bass, and other. Each stem comes out on its own output so you can route, process, or remix them independently.

Wire a stereo mix into in and set Modelpath to a separation model. Take the four outputs to wherever you want each stem: an effect chain, a mixer, or a recorder. Wire only the stems you need.

  • Input 0: in accepts stereo PCM. It is required.
  • Output 0: vocals stereo audio.
  • Output 1: drums stereo audio.
  • Output 2: bass stereo audio.
  • Output 3: other stereo audio, everything not captured by the other three.
  • Modelpath: separation model to load.
  • The separation model is user-supplied and is not included.
  • Input is stereo, and each stem output is stereo.
  • Separation is a heavier process than the time-based effects, so expect more latency than a simple inline FX.
