Stem Split
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”Stem Split takes a finished stereo mix and separates it into four stems: vocals, drums, bass, and other. Each stem comes out on its own output so you can route, process, or remix them independently.
TouchDesigner Use
Section titled “TouchDesigner Use”Wire a stereo mix into in and set Modelpath to a separation model. Take the four outputs to wherever you want each stem: an effect chain, a mixer, or a recorder. Wire only the stems you need.
Inputs And Outputs
Section titled “Inputs And Outputs”- Input 0:
inaccepts stereo PCM. It is required. - Output 0:
vocalsstereo audio. - Output 1:
drumsstereo audio. - Output 2:
bassstereo audio. - Output 3:
otherstereo audio, everything not captured by the other three.
Main Controls
Section titled “Main Controls”- Modelpath: separation model to load.
- The separation model is user-supplied and is not included.
- Input is stereo, and each stem output is stereo.
- Separation is a heavier process than the time-based effects, so expect more latency than a simple inline FX.
