Mix8 Audio
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”Mix8 Audio sums up to eight audio sources into one output, with independent gain on each input. It is the larger summing node for folding many instruments, returns, and sources into a single bus.
TouchDesigner Use
Section titled “TouchDesigner Use”Wire your sources into the inputs and set each gain to balance them. Wire out toward an effect chain, a recorder, or Device Out. Only in1 is required, so you can use as few or as many of the eight as you need.
Inputs And Outputs
Section titled “Inputs And Outputs”- Input 0:

Inputs accept mono, stereo, or multi-channel audio.
Main Controls
Section titled “Main Controls”- Mixmode: how inputs are combined.
sum: straight sum of all inputs.average: divides by the number of connected inputs, keeping loudness steadier as you add sources.lookup: index-style selection.
- Gain1 to Gain8: per-input level. An input with no connection is skipped.
- Gains move smoothly when changed, so level edits do not click.
- The output channel layout matches
in1, so wire your reference source there. - For a smaller four-source mix, use Mix4 Audio.
