Send

Send writes a copy of its input to a named feedback bus. Return reads that copy on the next audio block. Send’s ordinary output passes the input through unchanged, so the signal can continue to the final mix.

Place Send and Return from the Audio view of the Voro menu, under Other. Give both the same Bus name. Mix Return’s output with a source, run that mix through an effect, then connect the effect to Send. Take Send’s out to your output chain.

Start with Gain at zero and raise it to hear the effect feed back. A delay before Send gives each pass an audible gap.

  • in, required. Stereo audio to copy to the bus.
  • out. The unchanged stereo input.
  • Bus selects the named bus, main by default. Use a different name for each independent loop.
  • Gain scales the copy sent to Return, from 0 to 0.95. It does not change out.
  • Softlimit applies soft saturation to the feedback copy. It is on by default.

The feedback copy replaces non-finite samples with zero. Gain limits the amount sent back, but effects inside the loop can add gain of their own. Place Guard before Device Out to limit the final output.
