File Player
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”File Player loads a WAV file and emits it as stereo audio.
Set Filepath, turn on Play, and wire out toward Device Out or an effect chain. Connect a timeline ring to timeline when playback should follow transport.
Inputs and outputs
Section titled “Inputs and outputs”- Input 0:
timelineaccepts timeline state. It is optional. - Output 0:
outemits stereo audio.
Controls
Section titled “Controls”- Filepath: WAV file to load.
- Play: enables playback. With a timeline input, the timeline must also be playing.
- Loop: wraps playback at the end of the file.
- Restart: jumps to Cueposition.
- Cueposition: restart point in seconds.
- Gain: output level.
- Playbackrate: playback speed. Rate changes pitch with speed.
- Supports WAV files in 16-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit forms.
- Mono files are mirrored to stereo. Files with more than two channels use the first two.
- If there is no sound, check Filepath, Play, Gain, the timeline input, and downstream routing.
